As trail runners, we never forget the countless days and nights spent striving towards the finish line. Whether under the blazing sun or the silvery moon, through mud and fallen leaves, or over rocks and snow, the finish line often seems like a faraway kingdom – a Far Far Away. Yet, with a sigh and a glance at the sky, we can only keep putting one foot in front of the other. Each step brings us closer to the finish, without shortcuts or compromises. This is part of the spirit of long-distance trail running.

Our hope is to collaborate with the Chinese Taipei Super Marathon Association to host the WMTRC World Championship Chinese Taipei team selection race, creating a top-tier, high-intensity, high-stakes annual event. This will attract the country's elite male and female trail runners, while simultaneously providing a safe environment for intermediate and beginner runners to participate and learn. This race will allow Taiwan's trail running community to annually assess its overall and individual progress. Perhaps, then, significant advancements in Taiwan's trail running scene won't be so far far away.
