The Far Far Away 70K long-distance category provides advanced and elite cross-country runners with an excellent but time-rich challenge. Runners will pass through 4 famous mountains of Guguan,from Mt. Wuwowei to Mt. Donmou then through Tefulan Trail to Mt. Tangmadan. At the end of the race runners will challenge Mt.Pojinjia which is famous for it’s steep terrain.This category is also the Chinese Taipei Team Selection for the WMTRC World Championships Long Distance Category. .With all Taiwan’s elite participaing, it will become the most intense long-distance event, testing the runners’ high endurance output and competition strategies.

The organizer reserves the right to adjust the route due to safety and road conditions.

This section of the race rules indicates that transition bags will be available at checkpoints CP1 and CP5 (pending confirmation at Guanguan Avenue Station) for racers to store extra shoes, socks, clothing, supplies, or headlamps. Note that trekking poles cannot be stored in the transition bags.
All mandatory equipment must be carried by participants throughout the entire race and will be subject to random checks by the organizers. Lack of any mandatory equipment will result in disqualification.
Cut-Off time
The race has a 20-hour time limit. Cut-Off time for each checkpoint (CP) will be announced later.
Qualifying race for WMTRC
WMTRC team trials
This race is an open category and also serves as the qualifying race for the Chinese Taipei national team competing in the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (WMTRC) Long Distance category. The team will be selected based on the results of this race.
